TENDER DESCRIPTION

The A-card is the savings and benefits card of the City of Antwerp. Users earn points by taking part in cultural, sports and other leisure-time activities. Saved points can be exchanged for discounts or other benefits. For people who are in financial difficulty, the A-card is also a personal discount card that entitles the holder to a reduced-rate fare. Lastly, the A-card is also used as a library card, as a card that can be used to operate the underground sorting lanes, and as an access card for unstaffed sports halls.  Points can be earned at various (unattended) savings pillars that have been placed throughout the territory of the City of Antwerp, both at municipal locations and with partners of the city. The purpose of the contract is to conclude a framework agreement for the purchase and delivery of A-cards, being cards of the type MIFARE DESFire 4K EV3.
