TENDER DESCRIPTION

Water board Scheldestromen intends to conclude a framework agreement with one contractor for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance and renovation activities for IBA systems in various municipalities in the province of Zeeland. The work relates to 177 IBA systems, including systems with tanks and helofyte filters, spread across the municipalities of Goes, Hulst, Middelburg, Reimerswaal, Sluis, Terneuzen and Tholen. The assignment includes, among other things, periodic preventive maintenance, identifying and remedying malfunctions, providing a 24-hour fault service, removing and disposing of sludge, carrying out measurements and inspections, recording and reporting maintenance and fault data and carrying out renovation activities. Renovations may be awarded as an option within the framework agreement and include, among other things, work on controls, electrotechnical components, pipework in and around the tanks and civil engineering repairs. The full replacement of IBA systems falls outside the scope of the assignment. The framework agreement has an initial duration of two years and may be extended once by two years.
