TENDER DESCRIPTION

The HungaroMet Nonprofit Zrt. uses ground equipment of the “Vaisala AS41 AUTOSONDE” type for upper-air measurements by radiosounding in Budapest and Szeged. These devices are automatically operating electromechanical tools using robotic technology. They are capable, based on a pre-programmed schedule, on any day of the week at any time as specified: a. immediately prior to the measurement, preparing and checking the radiosonde for measurement, b. filling the radiosonde balloon to be launched into the upper atmosphere with hydrogen gas, c. launching the radiosonde–balloon assembly at the specified time, d. receiving and processing atmospheric data transmitted in real time by means of the radiosonde and its radio transmitter, e. producing the data in a format suitable for international meteorological data exchange and transmitting it using standard IT equipment. The devices can be pre-loaded in advance with a quantity of equipment sufficient to carry out up to 60 upper-air measurements (launches).
