TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of procurement is the work of extracting and removing uprooted stumps with roots at Mirogoj Cemetery. Stumps with roots must be extracted from areas that are not accessible by conventional mechanized stump-removal methods. These are stumps with roots that have been partially uprooted from the ground, and they remain after the removal of trees damaged in the storm at the end of March 2026. The stumps have damaged individual grave sites in such a way that they have lifted headstones or the entire grave, while in other places they obstruct passage paths. The stumps are located inside the grave plots; in many places, whole or partial cemetery markers/devices damaged by the roots rising up from the ground are located above the stumps, and they must be removed without causing additional damage to cemetery markers/devices—both those that are already damaged and the graves that are nearby or within the area for stump extraction. Each case of uprooted stumps requires a specific approach and an assessment of removal methods (mechanized and/or manual removal), provided that the other specified parameters are respected.
