Rahan Flood Relief Scheme — Engineering and Environmental Consultancy Services

TENDER DESCRIPTION

Offaly County Council invites tenders for engineering and environmental consultancy services for the Rahan Flood Relief Scheme at Tullybeg, Rahan, County Offaly, on the River Clodiagh. The Scheme comprises approximately 430 metres of reinforced concrete flood defence wall along the right bank of the River Clodiagh, with embankment at the tie-in points, protecting residential properties and the wastewater treatment plant to the 1 percent AEP fluvial standard. The commission covers Stage (ii) statutory consent and detailed design, Stage (iv) construction-stage services and Stage (v) handover and defects period, under the Capital Works Management Framework. The construction works will be delivered by Office of Public Works direct labour; procurement of a works contractor is not included in this commission.
