TENDER DESCRIPTION

The University Hospital RWTH Aachen (UKA) is announcing a framework agreement pursuant to § 21 of the Procurement Ordinance (VgV) for the supply and services to provide a graphics processing unit (GPU) based high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure for the development and application of artificial intelligence algorithms in computer-assisted pathology. The infrastructure must consist of the following three components: (1) GPU systems as computing units, (2) storage servers as storage units, and (3) an InfiniBand network for data transmission. The contractor (AN) must deliver the hardware and software, assemble the complete system, ensure the operational readiness of the complete system at the client (AG), and assume the system service.
