TENDER DESCRIPTION
The subject matter of the invitation to tender comprises the full range of postal services relating to the mail items of the State Police Inspectorate Gera and its subordinate offices. The postal service corresponds to commercial carriage within the meaning of § 3, point 4 in conjunction with point 15 of the Postal Act (PostG, in the currently applicable version) and includes the collection of unfranked, unsorted letter and registered items at the contracting authority’s collection points from Monday to Friday (except on public holidays), sorting, if applicable forwarding, and then the guaranteed domestic delivery in accordance with §§ 12, 18 PostG to recipients from Monday to Saturday (except on public holidays), as well as the onward carriage of mail to international recipients.
