TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (FHH) – Authority for Justice and Consumer Protection intends, on behalf of the Authority for the Interior and Sports, State Criminal Police Office as contracting authority (CA), to conclude a contract for the provision of molecular genetic analyses of buccal swabs, blood samples, and complex forensic trace carriers. The analyses serve law enforcement and hazard prevention. The CA is seeking a reliable, accredited service provider that guarantees an extremely high processing quality, contamination freedom, and strict compliance with urgent deadlines. The contract includes the logistical pickup/receipt, molecular genetic preparation, DNA extraction, quantification, PCR amplification as well as STR typing including expert evaluation and electronic report transmission. This is a full contract. The framework agreement will be concluded for a period of one year from 01.10.2026 to 30.09.2027 with an annual extension option for one more year each, up to a maximum term of four years (30.09.2030).
