TENDER DESCRIPTION

The University of Hamburg (hereinafter "UHH") is an excellence university with more than 43,000 students and approximately 6,000 employees, making it one of the strongest research universities in Germany and at the same time one of the largest educational institutions in northern Germany. With its concept of the "Flagship University" in the Hamburg metropolitan region, it maintains innovative and cooperative connections with scientific and non-scientific partners. It produces forward-looking societal goods for the location – but also nationally and internationally – in education, knowledge, and exchange of knowledge under the guiding principle of sustainability. The objective of the procedure is to recruit a powerful service provider for the execution of (regular) moving services for the University of Hamburg. At the University, moves of varying scales are continuously required. Moves can take place over several days, as well as multiple small moves on the same day. Usually, an industry-standard, reasonable planning lead time is granted. In individual cases, moves may also be necessary on very short notice within 24 hours.
