TENDER DESCRIPTION

The University of Hamburg (hereinafter "UHH") is an excellence university with more than 43,000 students and approx. 6,000 employees, making it one of the strongest research universities in Germany and at the same time one of the largest educational institutions in Northern Germany. With its concept of the "Flagship University" in the Hamburg metropolitan region, it maintains innovative and cooperative connections with scientific and non-scientific partners. It produces future-oriented societal goods for the location – but also nationally and internationally – such as education, knowledge, and exchange of information under the guiding principle of sustainability. The purpose of the procedure is to select a capable service provider for the execution of (regular) moving services for the University of Hamburg. At the university, moves of various sizes are continuously necessary. Moves lasting several days may occur, as well as several small moves within one day. As a rule, an industry-standard, reasonable planning lead time is granted. In individual cases, however, moves may also be required on very short notice within 24 hours.
