TENDER DESCRIPTION

From 2027 onwards, ÜSTRA plans to procure series-ready low-floor solo and articulated city buses with hybrid drives for use in its suburban and inner-city route network. Since ÜSTRA generally takes advantage of subsidy funds when procuring city buses and therefore cannot definitively determine the specific procurement need yet, it initially wishes to conclude a framework agreement with one supplier pursuant to § 19 SektVO for the delivery of city buses with hybrid drives with a term initially until 31.12.2029. Framework agreements are contracts that a contracting authority can award to one or more companies to establish the conditions for individual contracts to be awarded during a certain period, especially the price envisaged. The difference compared to other types of award lies in the two-stage nature of the procurement process. In the first stage, a framework agreement is concluded with one bidder in this procurement procedure. In the second stage, individual contracts are then awarded based on the framework agreement.
