TENDER DESCRIPTION

ÜSTRA plans from the year 2027 the procurement of series-ready low-floor solo and articulated line buses with hybrid drive for use in its suburban and inner-city route network. Since ÜSTRA generally makes use of funding for the procurement of line buses and therefore cannot yet definitively determine the specific procurement requirement, it initially wishes to conclude a framework agreement with one supplier pursuant to § 19 SektVO for the supply of line buses with hybrid drive with an initial term until 31.12.2029. Framework agreements are contracts that a contracting authority can award to one or more companies to establish the conditions for individual contracts to be awarded during a certain period, in particular the anticipated price. The difference compared to other types of award lies in the two-stage nature of the procurement process. At the first stage, a framework agreement is concluded with one bidder in this tender procedure. At the second stage, individual contracts are then awarded on the basis of the framework agreement.
