The Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space promotes research, technology, and space in Germany. Science and research, innovations and new technologies are the foundation of future prosperity. Together, they form the basis for economic success and progress, for growth and employment. Space technologies and their applications are important instruments of the modern information and industrial society. The government public relations and specialist information of the BMFTR are oriented, within the framework of their constitutionally recognized mandate, towards targeted and understandable information about the work, projects, and goals of the Ministry. State actions should be presented in a comprehensible manner and enable public discourse on them.
