TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement procedure is the award of a framework agreement for the delivery of heart-lung machines, including the associated hypothermia devices, as well as charging stations for the Department of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery at the Magdeburg University Hospital. Under the framework agreement, during the term of the contract, a total of approximately seven heart-lung machines and six hypothermia devices are to be procured by means of individual call-offs. The specific procurement is carried out in accordance with requirements and based on the contracting authority’s actual needs. The contractor shall provide the services covered by the contract in full, in an operationally ready and functional condition. What is owed is an operationally ready overall solution that includes all equipment, components, accessories, interfaces and other components required for intended and safe operation. The scope of services includes in particular the proper delivery, placement, installation and commissioning of the devices as well as the necessary instruction of the personnel designated by the contracting authority in their safe and intended use.
