TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. Background The State Operation Company for Environment and Agriculture (BfUL) is a state-owned enterprise established within the business area of the Saxon State Ministry for Environment and Agriculture (SMUL). In fulfilling its tasks, the BfUL operates, pursuant to § 89 of the Saxon Water Act, the hydrological measuring network of the Free State of Saxony. For this purpose, measuring points must be maintained, cared for, newly constructed, or decommissioned/dismantled. The Saxon State Office for Environment, Agriculture and Geology (LfULG) has commissioned the BfUL to further expand this measuring network in the area of groundwater. The new groundwater monitoring points are intended to densify the existing measuring network and provide data on the quality and status of groundwater in the various groundwater bodies. These data are required, among other things, for the assessment of diffuse contaminant load of groundwater in accordance with the Groundwater Ordinance. 2.
