TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. Background The State Operating Company for Environment and Agriculture (BfUL) is a state-owned enterprise established within the business area of the Saxon State Ministry for Environment and Agriculture (SMUL). In fulfilling its tasks, the BfUL operates, in accordance with Section 89 of the Saxon Water Act, the hydrological measurement network of the Free State of Saxony. For this purpose, measurement points must be maintained, cared for, newly constructed or dismantled. The Saxon State Office for Environment, Agriculture and Geology (LfULG) has commissioned the BfUL to further expand this measurement network in the groundwater area. The new groundwater monitoring points are intended to serve to densify the existing monitoring network and provide data on the quality and status of the groundwater in the various groundwater bodies. These data are needed, among other things, for assessing diffuse pollution of groundwater in accordance with the Groundwater Ordinance. 2.
