1. Information on the construction measure - General description: The Friedrichswerdersche Church in Berlin-Mitte was built between 1824 and 1830 according to plans by Karl Friedrich Schinkel in the style of German Neo-Gothic. The building is registered as a listed building in the state monument register of Berlin and is today used by the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (State Museums in Berlin) as a public cultural site for the Sculpture Collection of the National Gallery. Over the course of its history, the church has been repaired and refurbished multiple times. Since reopening in 2020, regular building maintenance measures are carried out to secure and preserve the listed building. As part of building maintenance, several necessary refurbishment and maintenance measures were identified that are functionally and technically independent of one another but require overarching coordination in order to efficiently and systematically clear the existing backlog in building maintenance.
