The contract timeline is as follows:

The contract becomes effective upon award.

There are two slightly different sets of dates provided for the initial contract term:

• A basic term from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2028, is specified in the framework agreement.
• An estimated start date of February 25, 2027, and an end date of February 24, 2029, are mentioned in the announcement.

The contract duration can be extended up to three times, with each extension lasting two years.

• Based on the basic term, the maximum contract duration could extend until December 31, 2034.
• Based on the estimated dates, the maximum contract duration could extend until February 24, 2035.

The total potential duration for the contract, including all extensions, is 8 years.

Key milestones or phases include:

• The performance criteria will be defined during the tendering phase.
• Mass delivery (Massenlieferung) of client hardware is planned for 2027, with another possible mass delivery in 2031.
• Individual call-offs based on the contract can be made up to the last day of the contract term, and individual orders may conclude even after the contract term ends.

The core scope of work for this tender primarily involves the provision of Client Hardware and associated services. Key deliverables include:

1. Delivery of Client Hardware: This encompasses new Laptops (Standard and Workstation, with and without peripherals), PCs, Monitors, and peripheral devices (such as mice and keyboards) for both mass deployments (scheduled for 2027 and potentially 2031) and ongoing smaller deliveries to equip current and future employees.

2. Take-back and Disposal of Old Hardware: The contractor is responsible for collecting old, replaced Client Hardware that is no longer in use by the client and ensuring its legal and environmentally compliant disposal, specifically adhering to the ElektroG (German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act). This includes device return, return transport, and preparation for data deletion or destruction.

3. Data Management Services:

• Certified data deletion of devices according to client specifications.
• Certified destruction of data carriers if data deletion is not feasible.

4. Service Management: The appointment of a Service Manager (and a deputy) who will serve as the central contact, coordinator, reporter, and problem solver for all inquiries and issues related to the delivery and disposal services.

5. Additional Services:

• Flat rates for additional deliveries, covering both mid-year exchanges and overall rollouts.
• Ongoing project services such as being a central contact person, ensuring defined accessibility, monitoring availability, managing follow-up models, tracking delivery times, monitoring price development, organizing and conducting coordination and regular meetings, managing crises and problems, and facilitating information transfer in both directions.
