TENDER DESCRIPTION

The IT department is responsible for the IT infrastructure for all offices within the district administration. The aim is to design and further expand the networking on the basis of current standards in a fail-safe, up-to-date and high-performance manner. Furthermore, IT has the task of equipping all offices of the district administration with public Wi-Fi. Currently, approximately 80% of the buildings are already equipped. A framework agreement is to be concluded for the new purchase and replacement procurement of Extreme network components. The products or systems listed in the bill of quantities/technical specifications are tendered manufacturer-specific, because for technical, economic and operational reasons compatibility with the already existing plant and system structures must be ensured. All components must be able to be integrated into an existing, uniform management and administration system in order to ensure trouble-free operation, centralized administration, uniform security and configuration standards, and permanent maintainability and support capability.
