TENDER DESCRIPTION

For the measurements, generally suitability-tested measuring instruments are used. For nitrogen oxides (NOx), nitrogen monoxide (NO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2), the reference method in accordance with DIN EN 14211:2025-12 Ambient air — measurement methods for the determination of the concentration of nitrogen dioxide and nitrogen monoxide is chemiluminescence. For this purpose, 55 automatic, suitability-tested NOx analysers must be supplied for continuous, time highly resolved and simultaneous measurement of NO, NO2 and NOx using the reference method. The delivery shall be made in three tranches (1st tranche: 20 devices, 2nd tranche: 20 devices, 3rd tranche: max. 15 devices). These must be functional and ready-to-use new devices. LUBW will install these NOx analysers in measurement containers of various sizes and with different equipment and operate them on a permanent basis (continuous measurement). The locations of the measurement stations in the air monitoring network of Baden-Württemberg cover the entire range of exposure, from rural background (low ambient pollutant concentrations) to traffic-proximate hotspot locations (high ambient pollutant concentrations).
