TENDER DESCRIPTION
The Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Charitéplatz 1, 10117 Berlin, is tendering on behalf of Gene and Cell Therapies Incubator Berlin GmbH (GCT) for the new building of the Berlin Center for Gene and Cell Therapies. Overall project: The Berlin Center for Gene and Cell Therapies project will create a modern new building with laboratory and office spaces as well as GMP areas for approximately 720 employees at the southernmost part of the existing Bayer Campus (Sellerstraße). The entire building consists of four usage areas: IQ Spaces Expansion, Co-Lab, Incubator, and GMP facility. The incubator area and the GMP production facility form the translation center. The laboratory and office spaces in the incubator area, which can be used flexibly, will mainly be occupied by company founders (start-ups), particularly active in the field of research and development of cell and gene therapies. Room program: Laboratories, offices, GMP area, lobby, café/bistro, logistics/storage. A total of approximately 5,700 m² of laboratory space with adjoining office areas is planned, distributed from the 3rd to the 9th floor.
