TENDER DESCRIPTION

In the construction contract, the Raumankari footbridge walkways crossing the River Lestijoki in Himanka will be renovated. The existing bridges have stone-clad abutments, which are demolished and replaced with concrete structures clad in stone veneer. The load-bearing parts of the bridge arch/seat structures are demolished and installed on new abutments. The bridge decking and handrails, as well as the cladding of the load-bearing structures, are replaced in full. The contractor must have at least an R2 certificate suitable for bridge works, confirmed by the evaluation committee of RALA.
