The construction site is located in the Berlin district of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, at the end of the dead-end Trebbiner Str. street, as a public access road to the Technikmuseum (technology museum) on the premises of the “Deutsches Technikmuseum Berlin” (German Technology Museum Berlin). All building services engineering for the “Altbau” (existing building) section is to be renewed. The service specified here: air-handling technology The described refurbishment is intended, roughly, to follow the individual construction phases, which are oriented to the trades of Electrical and Sanitation/medical services. These run vertically through the building. In doing so, areas on the ground floor (EG) and on the 1st floor (1. OG) are to remain in operation during the ongoing museum operation. The construction site areas leading to the areas kept in operation with visitor traffic are separated from them by temporary partitions using suitable dust protection walls, etc. Nevertheless, the construction activities are to be carried out with extensive consideration for museum operations.
