TENDER DESCRIPTION

The works proposed and necessary to be carried out in order to implement the investment are as follows: 1. Preparation of the technical design and execution details: written part and drawn part; 2. Obtaining approvals, authorizations; 3. Procurement of equipment and materials; 4. Rehabilitation works for the line superstructure; 5. Repair works for railway bridges/culverts 6. Rehabilitation works for railway earthworks; 7. Installation works for catenary contact line and power supply; 8. Protection works for railway installations; 9. Tests and verifications; 10. Reception/acceptance of the works. The designed technical solution is of the “Light Modernization” type and electrification of the existing route. It is proposed to repair the existing route, with minor local corrections to the existing curves, addressing dangerous points and flood-prone areas, so that the project can be implemented without additional earthworks in order to allow trains to run at the maximum speed permitted by the current line’s planimetric configuration.
