Provision of support services and implementation of international actions. This framework agreement is intended to provide support services, conduct studies, and implement international-dimension actions, in support of the regional strategy for internationalisation, economic attractiveness, and the development of the excellence sectors of the Pays de la Loire Region. Under its international strategy, the Region has in particular set as a priority the strengthening of the international position of the territory’s strategic sectors. The aim is to improve their international visibility and to help to win new markets. To this end, it will deploy an “international task force” for each strategic sector, which is tasked with developing and implementing programmes of coordinated actions with the companies and partners in those sectors, tailored to their challenges and their level of export readiness. As a result, these “international task forces” may address a wide range of actions, from market scoping, organising commercial missions, innovation discovery missions, and also sector marketing actions.
