TENDER DESCRIPTION

Disposal + Recycling Zurich (ERZ) would like to implement a new, interactive education centre focusing on the topics of the circular economy and water protection at the Hagenholz site. The education centre (working title) is intended to show and make tangible what ERZ, as a whole, contributes to the city of Zurich and, in particular, in the areas of the environment, the circular economy and water protection. The focus should be on imparting practice-oriented knowledge to visitors and encouraging behavioural changes in the areas of waste / the circular economy and water protection. The overall concept provides for an interactive, modern and modularly adaptable education centre. One part of the education centre (ground floor) is to be designed as a city walk. This will present ERZ’s many services for a liveable Zurich and convey knowledge relating to the circular economy, rainwater management and water protection. The second part (upper floor) guides visitors through an exemplary Zurich city apartment and shows what scope for action the visitors themselves have in order to contribute to a liveable Zurich.
