TENDER DESCRIPTION

This contract concerns the reception, sorting, transport and treatment of bulky items arising from collections carried out by the member local authorities of the SMED in the Cannes sector. Bulky items are mainly bulky objects and waste, which in particular come from bulky-item collections arranged by the municipal or inter-municipal technical services within the SMED area, or via voluntary drop-off points, from illegal fly-tipping collected in the public highway, and from unwanted rejects arising from SMED treatment outlets (Organic Valorisation Centre (CVO) of Le Broc and ISDND of the SPL “Vallon des Pins”). The location where bulky items are received and the treatment site will be designated by the contractor in Appendix 1 to the technical memo (response framework) submitted when submitting its bid.
