TENDER DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the contract is the preparation of a construction project that must define the remodeling works corresponding to an action planned in the current hydrological planning. The action covered by this report is included in the Measures Program of the Management Plan of the river basin district of Catalonia for the period 2022-2027, approved by GOV/108/2023 Agreement of May 16, with code C1.187 “Remodeling EBAR Sardana, Remodeling EBAR Catalunya and replacement of the Catalunya outfall”. Given that both EBARs and the outfall were commissioned in 1995, and although maintenance and renovation tasks have been continuously carried out over this period to ensure their operability, their current condition makes remodeling of both EBARs and replacement of the Catalunya outfall necessary. It should be noted that the Catalunya and Sardana EBARs are two of the main pumping stations of the Salou sanitation system that allow, given the area’s orography, the evacuation of the wastewater generated to the Vila-seca WWTP.
