TENDER DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the action is to restore and consolidate the façades and roofs of this property, which is listed as a Property of Local Cultural Interest (BCIL), with the aim of ensuring its preservation, safeguarding its architectural and heritage values, and preventing the progressive deterioration of its structural elements. The El Mercantil building constitutes a prominent element of the municipality’s architectural and historical heritage; therefore, its rehabilitation responds to an evident public interest, both from the standpoint of preserving cultural heritage and in terms of safety, conservation and bringing a municipally owned property into value. The works covered by the contract shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions contained in the approved technical project; this is the appropriate instrument for addressing the municipal needs identified and achieving the intended conservation and rehabilitation objectives.
