TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract concerns the annual cleaning of street and pavement manholes (including line gutters) within the management area of the municipality of Zeewolde. The municipality of Zeewolde has outsourced this execution task to Waterschap Zuiderzeeland. Waterschap Zuiderzeeland acts in this tender as the contracting authority and contracting entity. All communication runs via Waterschap Zuiderzeeland. The scope of the Contract in this Tender Guidelines is expressed exclusively in numbers of objects to be cleaned and not in euros. The estimated annual base scope amounts to approximately 11,000 street and pavement manholes, including approximately 2,400 m1 of line gutters, within the municipality of Zeewolde. Assuming a maximum contract duration of eight (8) years, the estimated base scope amounts to approximately 88,000 manholes. In addition, the Contracting Authority may optionally have a second, smaller cleaning round carried out of approximately 5,000 manholes per year. If this option is used throughout the full maximum duration, the total potential scope is up to approximately 128,000 manholes.
