TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of performance of the public contract is construction work consisting of construction modifications associated with a change in the use of buildings no. 323 and no. 584 in Žatec. This is the building of the former Barracks House of the Army (PDA). Today, both buildings form a rather complex structure, consisting of two main structures connected by a courtyard wing, standing on a footprint in the shape of the letter “U” – the buildings also include an unappealing cinema annex in the courtyard, which will be demolished. The plot lies in the outskirts of Žatec in the municipal heritage conservation area. Although both address numbers are combined into a single unit, it is a set of buildings that consists of a total of three structures in the project documentation, designated as Building “A” (forming the building line with Masarykova Street), Building “B” (forming the building line of Úzká Street) and Building C (connecting on the western side of the complex Building “A” and “B”).
