TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this public contract is construction work consisting of construction modifications associated with a change in the use of buildings no. 323 and no. 584 in Žatec. This is the former Army Garrison House building (PDA). Today, both houses form a fairly complex structure consisting of two main buildings connected by a courtyard wing, standing on a layout in the shape of the letter “U” – the buildings also include an ill-conceived cinema extension in the courtyard, which will be demolished. The plot is located in the suburbs of Žatec within the municipal conservation area. Although both cadastral identification numbers are combined into one entity, it is a set of buildings comprising a total of three structures in the project documentation, referred to as building “A” (forming the building line along Masarykova Street), building “B” (forming the building line along Úzká Street) and building C (connecting building “A” and building “B” on the western side of the complex).
