Renovation of the main entrance stairs to building No 40 of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding, Gdańsk University of Technology 1. The subject of the contract is the renovation of the main entrance stairs to building No 40 of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding, Gdańsk University of Technology2. The subject of the contract includes, among other things: The main entrance stairs according to the existing condition are made using reinforced concrete technology with treads, risers and landings finished with lastriko mass cladding. Both the stairs and the side walls have deficiencies and cracks. The stairs have not been rebuilt during the last works related to the building’s refurbishment, and the ongoing repairs of the steps were intended to fill damaged sections in order to ensure safe use of the stairs. The scope of works includes a comprehensive renovation of the stairs and side walls, consisting in chipping off the existing lastriko mass surfaces, leveling and filling the side walls, treads, risers and landings with a repair mortar, making damp-proof insulation of all surfaces made with insulation mortar based on cement, laying new surfaces…
