TENDER DESCRIPTION

The children’s home is intended to accommodate several day-care centres with different educational focuses in 11 group rooms. The extension of the Froebel School includes 10 additional general classrooms and subject rooms, as well as further school uses including a canteen. The external and open-space facilities form part of the project and are to be further planned and built by the future contractor on the basis of the open-space planning that already exists. In particular, the project provides for outdoor areas for the day-care centres, school outdoor areas, jointly usable green spaces, as well as play, movement and leisure areas. In planning and execution, the special requirements of the site, the neighbourhood, the ongoing school operations and the requirements of the future users must be taken into account. This in particular includes the requirements for a special school and barrier-free access to the open spaces. Based on the current planning status, a two-storey building is envisaged, partly with a basement and otherwise founded on piles. Due to the ground conditions, in particular the high groundwater level, the foundation work of the project is of special importance.…
