TENDER DESCRIPTION
1) New Town Hall Main Boiler - LOCATION, AYLSHAM, NORFOLK, NR11 6EL • Supply and install new 2no. Commercial 48KW (total 96KW) high efficiency condensing boilers. Minimum 5 years manufacturer's guarantee • Boilers to be fitted in existing boiler room (cellar) at a suitable height to reduce risk from flooding. • Existing pipework to be re-routed to new boilers. • Supply and instal new flue liner in chimney stack. This may be subcontracted out but subcontractor will report to the successful contractor. • Flues to be connected to new flue liner. • Old boiler to be removed from site and disposed of. • New boilers to be plumbed in to new plate heat exchanger to split system up and keep existing system open vent, utilizing the existing header tank in loft. • New larger circulation pump fitted to serve original heating system. • System to be split into 2 zones. The first zone will be the original heating system and the second zone will consist of the Council Chamber and Archives room (first floor). • 2no. motorized valves. • New 35mm copper pipe work from boiler area installed to existing heating system. • System to be adapted to a sealed pressurized system with expansion vessel and…
