TENDER DESCRIPTION

The ISEK Hillerheide, which was prepared in 2015 on behalf of the City of Recklinghausen and adopted by the City Council, defines the following five key projects for the development of the Hillerheide district: 1. "Future concept for the former racecourse site" 2. "Urban integration, Blitzkuhlenstraße" 3. "Attractive centre, Gertrudisplatz" 4. "Community life - complement and network what already exists" 5. "Energy-efficient district refurbishment" The aim of implementing the ISEK Hillerheide is to create a sustainable and future-oriented residential quarter on the former racecourse site and to integrate it as well as possible into the established Hillerheide district, taking into account the existing buildings and/or infrastructure there, the residents and their usage requirements. As part of key project 1 "Future concept for the former racecourse site", the central green area of the quarter with play and leisure facilities is to be created on the site of the former racecourse.
