TENDER DESCRIPTION
This Request for Tender is for the provision of comprehensive interpretation services, excluding Irish, to support the Department of Social Protection's diverse customer base across its 65 Intreo offices and headquarters, encompassing face-to-face, telephone, and video remote interpretation. The scope requires the ability to provide services in a wide range of specified languages, including Ukrainian, Polish, Romanian, Arabic, and many others, alongside the provision of detailed Management Information reports on spend, usage, and quality assurance, while also committing to measures that reduce environmental impact. Financial standing requirements include a minimum annual turnover of €155,000 for the three most recent audited years, with additional solvency and financial ratio stipulations for non-SMEs. The contract will have an initial term of 12 months, with the option for up to three extensions, each lasting up to 12 months.
TENDER BRIEF
The contract is for an initial term of 12 months ("the Term"). This agreement becomes effective on "the Effective Date" and will expire on a date to be inserted, unless terminated earlier or lawfully extended. The Client or Contracting Authority has the option to extend the Term for periods of up to 12 months, with a maximum of 3 such extensions. Milestones, compliance schedules, and operational protocols will be agreed upon regularly between the Client's Contact and the Contractor's Contact.
