TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Riihimäki (hereinafter referred to as “Contracting Entity” or “Client”) requests tenders for organising the City of Riihimäki’s meeting catering services in accordance with this tender request and its annex documents. The service to be procured is a service as specified in Annex E and has been provided for in Chapter 11 of the Procurement Act (1397/2016). Pursuant to Section 25 of the Act, the national threshold value for procurements concerning other specific service procurements referred to in the section on Annex E is EUR 300,000 excluding value added tax. The procurement falls below the national threshold values set in the Procurement Act (1397/2016), i.e. this is a minor procurement, in which the procurement instructions of the City of Riihimäki are applied in the tendering. The Procurement Act is not applied in this procurement. In this procurement, the basis for overall economic advantageousness is the lowest price. Prices are scored in accordance with the weighting factors stated in the tender request, and the tenderer receiving the highest total score among the accepted tenders is selected as the winner of the tender competition.
