Riihimäen Veden puhdistamolietteen jatkokäsittely-, loppusijoitus- ja kuljetuspalvelu

TENDER DESCRIPTION

Riihimäki Water Services Public Utility (hereinafter “Contracting Authority” or “Client”) requests tenders for further treatment and final disposal services for sewage sludge, as well as transport services for transport to further treatment, in accordance with this invitation to tender and its appendices. Transport, handling and final disposal of mechanically dewatered digested sludge generated at the Riihimäki wastewater treatment plant. The dry matter content of the sludge has been 25–30% and the amount of dewatered sludge is approx. 3,000 t per year. The dry matter content and sludge volumes are not binding. The concentrations of harmful metals in the sludge are low and fall below the maximum concentrations set out in the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry’s Decree on fertiliser products (No 24/11). The concentrations for the years 2020–2026 are set out in Appendix 2. This is a project exceeding the EU threshold value, to which the Act on Procurement by Entities Operating in the Water, Energy, Transport and Postal Services Sectors applies.
