TENDER DESCRIPTION
The subject of the procurement is the renewal of the City of Porvoo’s vehicular bridge in Ritarinpuisto and the pedestrian and cycle bridge, including construction design and the procurement of construction in accordance with the procurement documents, as an ST contract. The sites are located side by side at the intersection area of Vanha Kuninkaantie and Jernbölentie in the south-western part of Ritarinpuisto, near the Huhtinen district, to the north of central Porvoo. The form of contract for the construction site is an ST contract, and the basis for pricing is a lump sum. The contractor acts as the main contractor and as the contracting party’s client, as referred to in the legislation, designated as the project manager responsible for executing the work. The project manager is responsible for its occupational safety-related obligations also with regard to the developers and their contractors involved in the separate procurements of the contracting authority that operate at the same shared construction site.
