TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. The subject of the contract is the design and execution of the expansion of expressway S1 on the section from km 549+830.00 to km 554+570.00. This section constitutes a part of the expressway S1 connecting the existing route of the S1 road from the Pyrzowice junction to the Brzęczkowice junction with the under-construction section of this road from the Kosztowy II junction to Bielsko-Biała. The contract is implemented under the design and build formula. 2. The subject of the contract is described in detail in Volumes III-V of the Terms of Reference (SWZ). 3. The contracting authority reserves the obligation for the Contractor to personally perform key tasks, i.e. the main route pavement including production and installation as well as execution of other pavement construction layers above the native soil (excavation) or embankment (fill), excluding supply of materials and services. With regard to key tasks reserved for personal performance by the Contractor, the Contractor may not rely on the capabilities of an entity providing resources, according to the principles set out in Article 118 paragraph 1 of the Public Procurement Law, for the purpose of proving compliance with the…
