TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject matter of the public contract is the obligation of the supplier to supply and subsequently implement technical and software resources for expanding the existing DWDM equipment and to provide support services for them and for the existing technical and software resources. More detailed specifications of the subject matter of the public contract are set out in the draft contract, which forms Annex No. 1 to the tender documentation. Given that the contracting authority has fully integrated the existing HW and SW resources of DWDM into its information system structure and that the expansion of transmission capacity between locations by 100 Gb cannot, for compatibility reasons, be performed other than by using the resources that are the subject of this contract, and that a transition to other HW and SW resources would entail unreasonably high costs on the part of the contracting authority, whether when purchasing entirely new DWDM equipment (also including existing resources for which replacement is not required), or when it is necessary to modify all existing applications and systems that use these resources, the contracting authority takes the view that, in this case,…
