TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. The subject of the contract is the development of automatic pedestrian and cyclist detection systems in Gdynia. The contractor's task will be a comprehensive expansion with an additional 61 brand new thermal detection devices. 2. The tangible scope of the contract includes the delivery along with installation and configuration of 61 brand new thermal detection devices within pedestrian crossings and bicycle crossings covered by the contract and the adaptation of traffic signal controllers at the specified locations to support thermal detectors. At the specified locations, MSR-2002 controllers with the TRENDS core are used. A detailed list of locations is provided in Annex A to the Terms of Reference (TOR). Installation of cameras will take place on existing supporting structures belonging to the Contracting Authority (mainly traffic signal masts or other structures used for ITS devices in the TRISTAR system).
