TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. The subject of the contract is the development of automatic pedestrian and cyclist detection systems in Gdynia. The contractor’s task will be a comprehensive expansion by an additional 61 units of factory-new thermal detection devices. 2. The substantive scope of the contract includes delivery together with installation and configuration of 61 units of factory-new thermal detection devices within the pedestrian crossings and bicycle crossings covered by the contract, and adapting the traffic light controllers in the aforementioned locations to operate the thermal detectors. In the aforementioned locations, MSR-2002 controllers with the TRENDS kernel were used. A detailed list of locations is provided in Annex A to the SWZ. The installation of the cameras will be carried out on the existing supporting structures belonging to the Contracting Authority (mainly traffic light masts or other structures used for ITS equipment in the TRISTAR system).
