1. Information on the construction project 1.1. General description: The Julius-Leber barracks cover an area of approx. 98 ha with approx. 180 buildings and halls of different use. The buildings are used mainly as administrative buildings, accommodation buildings, storage buildings and workshop buildings. The JLK was built in 1934-1936 and, as an ensemble, is subject to listed building (heritage) protection. - Contracting authority / users: Federal Ministry of Defence, represented by the Federal Office for Building and Spatial Planning. - Use of buildings: The buildings of the Julius-Leber barracks are used as administrative buildings, accommodation buildings, storage buildings and workshop buildings. - Type of construction measure: The type of construction measure is construction projects.
