TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authorities will carry out construction measures as clients in the coming years, during which activities involving pollutants (e.g., asbestos, mineral insulation materials, PCBs, heavy metals, etc.) and subsequently the disposal of (hazardous) waste must regularly be performed. This concerns, for example, renovation and modernization measures in existing buildings, conversion measures, as well as demolition and new construction projects. The construction projects are carried out partly under contracts with general contractors and partly through individual awarding of the involved trades. Additionally, the contracting authorities purchase various properties where activities involving pollutants may also occur. To ensure a professional, proper, economical, and prompt handling of pollutants and (hazardous) waste, the contracting authorities carry out pollutant management. Since the contracting authorities themselves do not have sufficient professional qualifications for such pollutant management, the pollutant management is to be performed by external qualified service providers.
