TENDER DESCRIPTION

The objective of the construction task is to improve the technical condition, increase capacity, widen the load-bearing and shoulder surface, renovate the existing infrastructure (mainly lighting and stormwater drainage substructures), and ensure compliance with applicable international and national regulations – with special regard to the CSADR-DSN part of Regulation 139/2014/EU concerning airport infrastructure requirements – within the THR 31L area and the TWY A1, TWY A2, TWY C, and TWY D taxiways and their safety strips, taking into account traffic demands and in line with the Client's sustainability strategy. The task includes widening the asphalt and concrete pavements of the taxiways, constructing new load-bearing surfaces on approximately 44,640 m2, of which 20,234 m2 is basalt concrete pavement; dismantling the existing asphalt shoulder and widening the shoulder by constructing new asphalt pavement on approximately 27,190 m2.
