    TENDER DESCRIPTION

    The contract performance being tendered consists of expert services pursuant to Section 20 of the Atomic Energy Act (AtG) for the operated spent fuel intermediate storage facility (BZG), the waste intermediate storage facility (AZG), and the pilot conditioning facility (PKA) in the municipality of Gorleben. State supervision is carried out by the MU. To perform these tasks, the supervisory authority pursuant to Section 20 of the AtG involves expert persons. In particular, the supervisory authority monitors - compliance with the provisions, conditions and ancillary requirements of the approval decisions, - compliance with the regulations of the Atomic Energy Act, the Radiation Protection Act, and the ordinances under nuclear law and radiation protection law, as well as those concretising, subordinate provisions, guidelines and rules, - compliance with the issued supervisory orders and checks whether, in addition, further measures are required to protect life and health or property.
