TENDER DESCRIPTION

Tampereen Kaupunkiliikenne Oy requests tenders, based on an open procurement procedure, for twenty-two (22) new electric articulated buses in accordance with this tender request and its appendices, including also the tender price (as an option) for the buses’ maintenance contract for a contract period of fifteen (15) years in accordance with this tender request and its appendices. The contracting authority is not obliged to accept the tender with respect to the maintenance contract, but the contracting authority may procure the offered buses from the selected future contract supplier also without a maintenance contract. As an option procurement, two (2) additional vehicles, procurement of which is decided by 28.2.2027, and as a second option ten (10) additional vehicles, procurement of which is decided by 31.12.2033. Operation with the vehicles will start from 7.8.2028. One vehicle will be delivered to the contracting authority for training use by 1.5.2028. The other vehicles (this does not apply to the 10 additional vehicle option) are delivered to the contracting authority from the beginning of August 2028, at the latest by 6.8.2028.
