TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Jyväskylä’s sports services will tender a framework agreement with the objective of freezing outdoor ice rinks and providing ice maintenance with a water-spraying truck. The service provider supplies the water-spraying truck with its drivers on request and performs the rink watering in accordance with the instructions of the contracting authority. The service provider is responsible for retrieving water from a water intake point determined by itself. A more detailed description of the procurement is attached. Three (3) suppliers are selected for the framework agreement. The suppliers are placed in priority order based on the comparison of tenders. The framework agreement is described in more detail in the contract and in the description of the subject matter of the procurement. The contract period begins in the winter season of 2026 and the contracting authority may use option years up to and including the winter seasons 2030–2031. The more specific dates will be specified upon the issuance of the legally valid procurement decision.
